‘C’ What We’ve Accomplished:
A Unified Community on Track for the Gold!
Dear Faith Family Academy Community,
As we close the semester and cruise into winter break, it’s the perfect time to C—yes, C—what we’ve accomplished together as a unified team of Caring staff, Committed parents, Courageous students, and a deeply Connected community.
From classrooms to competitions, from campus culture to community service, every success shines because we’re moving in sync—and we’re moving toward gold.
Below are this semester’s golden highlights, organized in the spirit of our theme:
Children learning, Campuses growing, Choirs performing, Cadets winning, Community thriving, and Collective excellence leading the way.
C — Children First: Early Learning, Academic Progress & Student Support
- $50,000 grant and national training to expand Reggio-inspired environments.
- New Exploration Lab at Waxahachie and continued innovation at the Oak Cliff Early Childhood Center.
- Gifted and talented numbers rose dramatically—from under 1% to over 10% this semester.
- 10% of secondary students reading at college level.
- Attendance holds strong at 95%, outperforming state and regional averages.
- 100% implementation of the nationally recognized Reggio Emilia Inspired program at the Waxahachie Campus.
- Waxahachie after-school program participation more than doubled.
- High school students on track to maintain a graduation rate above 95%, outperforming both state and local ISDs.
- UT OnRamps participation skyrocketed from 161 to 285 students—a 77% increase and a $111,496 tuition savings.
- Students attended over 15 college visits this fall.
- Multiple students received College Board Recognition Awards for outstanding achievement.
C — Creativity & Competition: Extracurricular and Fine Arts Excellence
- Over 200 students participating in strings and piano programs.
- Multiple public fine arts performances showcasing student talent.
- Performing Arts Strings Program awarded $67,000 for new instruments to expand this spring.
- NJROTC won two major competitions and earned a place at regional finals.
- NJROTC enrollment reached an all-time high of 200+ cadets.
- NJROTC drone teams placed 2nd (high school) and 6th (middle school)—both in the top ten nationally.
- NJROTC won its first-year communications mission champion award.
- Floral Design and Business students earned industry-based certifications.
- Boys and Girls Basketball, Rugby, and Soccer teams participated in seven national tournaments/showcases, competing with top teams across the U.S.
- Every senior on both boys’ and girls’ basketball teams has been offered a Division I scholarship.
- Boys Soccer team invited to join the UPSL national soccer club organization; girls program joins next year.
C — Curiosity in Action: Explore360®
- Over 1,400 students participated in real-world learning experiences.
- More than $100,000 in grants supported travel, leadership, and outdoor education.
- Explore360 Work Study students mentored younger scholars on every trip.
C — Care at the Center: Health, Safety & Wellness
- 1,485 students received vision screenings; 246 received free glasses.
- $600,000 Nonprofit Security Grant supports districtwide safety upgrades.
- Teachers and staff continue mentoring students in academics, attendance, and well-being.
- Disciplinary incidents decreased by over 50% from last year.
- From 2022–2025, the district passed all school safety inspections and audits—with zero findings.
- Stronger Connections Program recognized at the state level for improving student outcomes.
C — Community in Action: Nourishment & Service
- Over 280,000 meals served this fall, plus 12,650 over the summer.
- 75 Thanksgiving and 75 Christmas meal bags provided to families.
- 353 students supported through the Angel Giving Tree.
- Family engagement strengthened through Grandparents Bingo, Book Parades, and more.
- Students contributed more than 8,145 community service hours this semester alone.
- Floral Design, NJROTC, and Performing Arts students showcased their talents with partners such as Scottish Rite, the City of Dallas, the City of Waxahachie, and the City of Red Oak.
- 100% staff participation in the Education Foundation.
C — Commitment to Excellence: Financial Integrity & Enrichment
- Earned an “A” Superior Achievement rating from TEA’s financial accountability system.
- Over $2.5 million invested in classroom and facility improvements on the Oak Cliff campus.
- Staff salaries exceed those of nearly every school district in Texas (Dallas Morning News).
C What We’ve Built—Together
None of these achievements happened by chance. They happened because of our Collective dedication, our Courage to dream big, and our Commitment to every child’s success.
We are proud of the progress we’ve made, grateful for the people who make it possible, and energized by the gold-standard goals ahead.
As we step into winter break, we wish each of you a season that is Cozy, Cheerful, and Centered on rest and joy.
