Cliff Bartosh is a locally grown athlete with a long history of baseball accomplishments, spanning nearly two decades. In 1998, he was selected as the 29th round draft pick for the San Diego Padres straight out of neighboring Duncanville High School. He has nine seasons of professional baseball under his belt, including two seasons at the Major league Level with the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago Cubs. In 2000, he was named the Midwest League Post-Season All-Star. In 2002, he was selected Mobile Bay Bear Co-Pitcher Of The Year. 2004 came with another great award, but this time it was for his Major League debut with the Cleveland Indians. Returning to his roots, Cliff served at his alma mater, Duncanville High School, for four years as Varsity Assistant Coach and the Baseball Strength and Conditioning Coach. For thirteen years, he has given private and select coaching instruction. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), and is certified as a Functional Movement Systems Level 1 (FMS). His expertise brought him back to the big leagues when he became the Professional Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Diego Padres in 2012. Cliff also served as an Associate Scout for the New York Yankees. He has an eye for talent and knows how to pull the best performances from every player with patient fortitude. Despite Cliff's impressive baseball career, he is a conscientious family man and leads his family with the staunchest integrity and dedication. He and his wife, Michelle, reside in Waxahachie with their three children: Owen, Emma, and Levi.
