Dear Faith Family Academy Community,
Faith Family Academy (“FFA”) announces the full-time return to on-campus instruction for all students beginning Monday, January 11, 2021. We will celebrate this day as the “2nd First Day of School” which also marks the beginning of the spring semester.
FFA has successfully conducted in-person learning for a significant percentage of students on both campuses since September. All staff and students will continue to follow the health and safety protocols defined in FFA’s Return to Learning Plan.
While there is no substitute for face-to-face learning in the classroom, temporary remote learning will be available for students with documented and approved medical conditions. All temporary remote learning requests must be submitted for prior approval to elearning@faithfamilyacademy.org.
To help teachers and staff prepare for the return of students, the schedule for the week of January 4-8, 2021 will be modified. Those days will now become Early Release dates for all grades at both campuses, and secondary grades 6-12 will follow their semester testing schedule.
The attached Frequently Asked Questions document addresses the most common questions and concerns for parents. For any other questions, please contact your campus administrator.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to create a safe learning environment for all students and provide a quality public education that goes beyond the classroom.
Sincerely,
Dr. Mollie Purcell Mozley, Ed.D.
Superintendent
