Faith Family Academy NJROTC Unit Earns the Distinguished Unit Award with Honors

We are honored to announce that our NJROTC unit was recently presented with the Distinguished Unit Award with Honors for the 2020-2021 school year. As the first NJROTC unit at a public charter school in the country, and one of two schools in Texas selected to pilot the inclusion of 8th graders this school year, this is a tremendous accomplishment for our cadets and unit leaders.

The Distinguished Unit Award with Honors is based on superior performance and outstanding achievement in academics, physical fitness, marksmanship competitions, cadet involvement, and community service. This school year, our NJROTC cadets completed almost 4,000 hours of service to the school and community.

This prestigious recognition also allows FFA to nominate up to three eligible NJROTC cadets as candidates to the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy, and the U.S. Air Force Academy. We are so proud of Faith Family Academy's NJROTC and are excited to celebrate their achievements at the Inaugural Navy Ball this Saturday, May 22nd.
