Earn College Credit Before Going to College
Since 2018, Faith Family Academy has partnered with The University of Texas at Austin to offer OnRamps college-level, dual-enrollment STEM, Arts and Humanities courses to our high school students.
OnRamps courses are designed and taught by The University of Texas at Austin faculty, and give students the opportunity to prepare for the challenges and expectations of college while earning both high school and college course credit hours. Credit hours for OnRamps courses also transfer to other Texas state universities.
By experiencing college before going to college, students are better prepared for the academic and social expectations of higher education. Research also reveals that high school students completing two or more dual-enrollment courses double their chances of earning a college degree (Jobs for the Future, 2012).
